Delete your data

Your account is yours. You can delete it, and everything stored with it, whenever you like — you don't need to ask our permission or wait for anyone to approve it.

1Delete it yourself — takes a minute

  1. Log in to Star Boostly.
  2. Go to Settings in the dashboard menu.
  3. Scroll to Danger zone and choose Delete account.
  4. Type DELETE to confirm, then press Permanently delete.

It happens straight away. There is no waiting period and no undo, so please be sure before you confirm.

2Or ask us to do it

If you can't get into your account, write to us at support@starboostly.com from the email address on the account, with the subject Delete my data. We'll confirm it's really you and complete the deletion within 30 days.

3What gets deleted

  • Your login and password
  • Your profile — name, handle, bio, city, categories, rates
  • Your profile picture
  • Your portfolio photos and videos
  • Your saved delivery address and phone number
  • Your bookings and the briefs attached to them
  • Your messages with brands or creators
  • Your notifications and saved preferences
  • Any social account you had connected, and anything we had pulled from it such as your picture or follower count

4What we have to keep, and why

Where money has actually changed hands, we're required by Indian tax and accounting law to keep a record of the transaction — the amount, the date and the reference number. We keep the bare minimum, we don't use it for anything else, and it isn't linked to a profile anyone can look up.

Our payment provider keeps its own record of any payment, which is covered by their policies as well as ours. If you never made or received a payment on Star Boostly, there is nothing of this kind to keep and nothing is retained.

5Things worth knowing first

  • Finish any live booking first. If you have work in progress or money being held, settle it before deleting — once the account is gone we can't reach you to complete it.
  • The other side keeps their own copy of the conversation. Messages you sent to a brand or creator stay visible to them, the same way a sent email does.
  • Content already posted publicly stays posted. Anything published to Instagram or elsewhere lives on that platform, not ours — you'd need to remove it there.
