This policy explains what personal data Star Boostly collects, why, and your rights over it. We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act.
1. Data we collect
- Account details: name, email, phone number.
- Profile details: bio, city, categories, connected Instagram.
- Business/verification details: GSTIN, and masked payment references (we never store full bank or card numbers — those stay with our payment provider).
- Usage data: bookings, messages, and activity on the platform.
2. How we use it
- To run the marketplace: matching, bookings, payments, and chat.
- To verify creators and brands, and prevent fraud.
- To send you notifications about your bookings.
3. Sharing
We share data only as needed to operate the service — for example with our payment provider (Razorpay) to process payments, or with the other party in a booking. We do not sell your personal data.
4. Security
We use encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and store sensitive references (like bank details) with regulated providers rather than on our own servers.
5. Your rights
- Access and correct your data.
- Request deletion of your account and data.
- Withdraw consent for optional processing.
